Koenigsegg has just revealed its newest hypercar – Sadair’s Spear. It’s a powerful, lightweight machine with a twin-turbo V8 engine that produces up to 1,625 horsepower. Yes, you read that right – sixteen hundred twenty-five horses!
This Swedish monster gives you two levels of power. On regular petrol, the engine makes 1,300 HP, but if you use E85 biofuel, it jumps to 1,625 HP. The engine is connected to Koenigsegg’s special Light Speed Transmission (LST) system, which doesn’t use a flywheel and can spin up to 46,000 rpm. That’s crazy fast!
Even more impressive – the car is 35 kg lighter than the previous model. Thanks to that, the power-to-weight ratio is better than 1:1. That’s something only a few cars in the world can say.

Aerodynamics and Track Power
Sadair’s Spear has a new double rear wing that changes its shape while driving to give better downforce. It also has better engine cooling, which adds 20 to 25 extra horsepower. The wheels are made from carbon fiber and are very light, and the car uses Triplex suspension, made for high-speed track driving.

A Name with Meaning – Sadair’s Spear
The name Sadair’s Spear is not random. It comes from a horse that Jesko – the father of Koenigsegg’s founder, Christian von Koenigsegg – rode in his last race back in 1976. So the name is very personal and emotional for Christian.

During testing at Gotland Ring racetrack in Sweden, the Sadair’s Spear broke the previous lap record (set by the Koenigsegg Jesko Attack) by 1.1 seconds.

Only 30 Will Exist
Koenigsegg will make only 30 units of the Sadair’s Spear. And guess what? They’re already sold out! All cars were sold during a private event.
Christian von Koenigsegg said:
“Sadair’s Spear is a natural evolution for us – it combines raw power, advanced aerodynamics, and amazing road presence.”
This car is not just about numbers – it’s about passion, legacy, and pushing limits. Koenigsegg does it again.
