The new Acura RSX Prototype is here, and it is bringing back the spirit of the early 2000s. The original RSX was a sporty two-door car loved by driving fans. This new one has four doors, electric power, and SUV size, but Acura says it will still be fun to drive.
This RSX Prototype is a preview of a car coming in late 2026. It has sharp lines, a sporty roof, and big 21-inch wheels with red Brembo brakes. The bright “Propulsion Yellow Pearl” color makes it stand out. The body is two-tone, making it look lower and more dynamic.
Under the skin, the RSX will have dual-motor all-wheel drive and a double-wishbone front suspension for sharp handling. The battery will allow bidirectional charging, so you can power your home or devices if needed.
Inside details are still secret, but Acura says it will use the new ASIMO operating system. This tech will let drivers customize settings, run apps, and get updates over the air.
The RSX will be built in Ohio on Honda’s new electric platform, which will also be used for other upcoming Honda and Acura EVs. Even though it’s electric, Acura promises it will deliver excitement like the original RSX — just in a new shape for a new era.
