The 2026 Nissan Armada NISMO is here, and it’s the first time this full-size SUV gets the special NISMO treatment in the U.S. This version of the Armada is more powerful, more stylish, and more fun to drive — at least on the street.

More Power Under the Hood
The Armada NISMO uses a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 engine that now makes 460 horsepower. That’s 35 more than the regular Armada, thanks to improved engine software and better valve tuning. It still keeps the same 516 lb-ft of torque. To get the full power, you need to use premium fuel.
It comes with a 9-speed automatic transmission and is available in both rear-wheel drive (RWD) and four-wheel drive (4WD). Even with the upgrades, it keeps the strong 8,500-pound towing capacity, which means it can still pull heavy loads — even a sports car like the NISMO Z.

Sporty Changes
The Armada NISMO is not just about power. It also comes with a sport-tuned air suspension, upgraded exhaust, and better sound in the cabin for a more exciting driving feel. Nissan also changed the steering and suspension for better handling on the road.
The look is very NISMO, with many red details, a blacked-out grille, flared fenders, NISMO 22-inch wheels, red brake calipers, rear spoiler, and a unique rear bumper. It comes in special colors like NISMO Stealth Gray, Everest White Pearl Tricoat, and Black Diamond Pearl, some with a contrasting black roof.

Inside the Cabin
Inside, the Armada NISMO continues the sporty look with red quilted seat inserts, dark gray leather, and NISMO logos on the headrests. The front seats have adjustable side bolsters to keep you comfortable during spirited driving.

A Unique Option
The 2026 Nissan Armada NISMO isn’t trying to be a race car. It’s a three-row luxury SUV with a sporty attitude. It follows other NISMO models like the 350Z, 370Z, GT-R, Juke, Sentra, and even the electric Ariya. While it may seem a bit crazy to have a performance version of such a big SUV, Nissan is betting there’s an audience for it — just like there has been in the Middle East with the Patrol NISMO, which is basically the same vehicle.
If you like big SUVs with a bold look and a bit more power, the Armada NISMO might be just right for you.
