Bugatti Rimac has revealed a new special car called Bugatti Brouillard, made under their new program called Solitaire. This new program is all about making fully custom, hand-built cars, with designs inspired by classic Bugatti style.
Inspired by Ettore Bugatti’s Horse
The first car in this program, Brouillard, will be shown at Monterey Car Week. The name means “fog” in French. This car was made for a private collector who already owns several Bugattis and art pieces connected to the Bugatti family.

The design of the car is inspired by Ettore Bugatti’s favorite horse. Instead of looking aggressive, Brouillard is made to look elegant and smooth, with soft lines and flowing shapes – like the muscles of a horse.
The bottom of the car is painted in dark colors to look like it’s hiding in shadow. The top part is light and flowing, making the car look lower and longer.

“Making something look simple is actually very difficult,” said Frank Heyl, head of Bugatti design. “We had to meet all the aerodynamic and cooling needs of a hypercar, while keeping a clean, artistic shape.”
Inside: A Mix of Art and Luxury
The interior is a mix of rare materials and hand-made details. There is tartan fabric, horse hair, aluminum accents, and a dark green carbon fiber. One of the coolest features is the gear shifter, made from a single block of aluminum, with a small amber horse sculpture inside it.

There’s also a glass roof that connects the inside and outside view. Every part inside the car is custom made – there are no standard parts.
Only Two Cars Per Year
The Solitaire program will make only two cars per year, and each one will be completely unique in design, both inside and outside. The cars will still use Bugatti’s existing 1,600 horsepower W16 engine, but the body and cabin will be fully custom.

“Solitaire gives us more freedom to express the Bugatti spirit,” said Hendrik Malinowski from Bugatti Rimac. “Every car will be a one-off, with more attention to detail than even the most expensive cars in the world.”
