Pecco Bagnaia tested the new Lamborghini and was amazed by the engine that revs up to 10,000 RPM.
Two-time MotoGP champion Francesco “Pecco” Bagnaia was one of the first people to drive the new Lamborghini Temerario – a hybrid supercar that pushes the limits of car technology.
Two-time Champion
The Italian rider, who won MotoGP titles in 2022 and 2023, was impressed by the performance of the new V8 twin-turbo engine, which can reach an incredible 10,000 RPM.

“I’ve never felt anything like it. Even though it’s a turbo engine, it feels almost like a naturally aspirated one with a boosted intake system. Reaching 10,000 RPM is unbelievable,” Bagnaia said after the test drive in Sant’Agata Bolognese.
Hybrid Power: 920 Horsepower
The Lamborghini Temerario combines a V8 twin-turbo engine with three electric motors, producing a total of 920 horsepower. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.7 seconds, 0 to 200 km/h in 7.1 seconds, and has a top speed of 343 km/h.
Bagnaia especially praised how easy the car was to drive despite its extreme power. “I’m amazed not only by the strength but also how easy it is to control. It’s an incredible mix,” said the 27-year-old racer, who drives a Ducati Desmosedici GP with the number 63.
Interestingly, the number 63 also connects Bagnaia with Lamborghini, which was founded in 1963. As a big fan of supercars from Sant’Agata, the Italian racing star took the chance to be one of the first to test Lamborghini’s newest hybrid masterpiece. The Temerario has not yet officially gone on sale.
